Major Focus:

* Generate additional ticket sales on a daily basis, particularly in the areas of retail companies with 10 employees or more.
* Promote and maintain the utmost integrity and the highest caliber customer service to all patrons. Essential Functions:
* Assist in the development and execution of ticket promotional programs to support attendance goals of Gateway International Raceway.
* Learn and execute sales techniques for outbound cold calls to designated retail outlets. We will solicit employers to participate in a special ticket promotion for their employees.
* Develop outbound sales messages
* Handle Objections
* Make outbound sales calls to sell ticket packages in selected geographies
* Continually update sales activities and maintain prospect list
* Learn order entry system to search for seating assignments
* Make outbound surveys for ticket sales
* Make prospecting calls
* Send follow up materials via fax and email, and U. S. Mail
* Make follow up phone calls
* Assist with mailing tickets for race events and do filing
* Assist with race preparation for trackside tours and hospitality village
* Other duties as assigned. Requirements:
* Must be in college or a recent grad.
* Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Must possess a neat appearance and comply with personal appearance standards.
* Must maintain a cooperative, friendly outlook with a positive attitude and sincere desire to learn.
* Must be able to learn and perform to our guest service standards.
* Must be able to perform basic math calculations.
* Must possess good computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
* Must be able to work a varied schedule, including nights and weekends.
* Must be able to lift objects up to 25 pounds.
* Must be able to walk and stand for up to 8 hours. OTHER DETAILS:
* Approximately 20 hours per week with varied schedules (will work around specific class schedules).
