JOB TITLE: Corporate Account Executive
DIVISION: Sales and Marketing
MAJOR FOCUS:
• Actively execute a “FULL TICKET MENU” marketing effort against, but not limited to season and group tickets, as well as hospitality sales for all motorsports events held at Dover International Speedway
• Actively market new ticket sales with national and local companies, to sell them on the value of group tickets, and hospitality for motorsports events at Dover International Speedway.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Responsible for generating sales of group tickets and hospitality options to Dover International Speedway events.
• Ability to set appointments, network, and prospect: be aggressive in selling all assigned inventory and services.
• Responsible for acquisition, maintenance and servicing of all new and renewal accounts.
• Continually update all sales activities, commission reports, expenses, daily and weekly sales records.
• Ability to perform post event follow-up with all accounts.
• Ability to maintain organized records for all prospects and current customers, along with mailing lists
• Will be trained and expected to keep current on ACT business relationship software (or other data management program)
• Assist with all event responsibilities regarding race day operations.
REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or other related field required.
• Must possess a valid drivers license
• Must have a serviceable car and ability to travel within 150 miles of facility
• Ability to travel to daytime appointments away from the facility three (3) or more days per week.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Must have effective oral and written communication skills.
• Well developed interpersonal skills.
• Ability to set and achieve high standards of performance.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision making skills.
• Ability to perform manipulation of numbers and basic math calculations.
• Must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Must be a team player, willing to contribute to the benefit of the entire team.
• Ability and willingness to work long hours, including weekends.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; proficient in Work and Excel.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time – up to four (4) hours.
• Ability to reach for specific objects at short distances within local work area.
• Ability to ascend and descend stairs/ladders; kneel, bend or stoop and travel to various locations within the facility.

Ticket Representative (Part-Time) - Gateway International Raceway (Madison, IL)
MAJOR FOCUS:
- To maintain the highest level of customer service while promoting motorsports ticket sales.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for all sales of tickets including but not limited to motorsports..
- Answer all customer inquiries regarding tickets, seating, promotions, events, etc.
- Responsible for relocating customer seats, renewing tickets and for ripping, stuffing and mailing invoices, renewals, tickets and upgrades.
- Make outbound and receive inbound calls for the purpose of ticket/promotional package sales and/or customer surveys.
- Develop an understanding of the PSI ticketing system in order to access customer accounts and properly process ticket purchases.
- Balance money and tickets at the end of the day.
- Contact customers regarding missed due dates.
- Reallocate tickets.
- Issue letters of authorization for lost tickets as approved by management.
- Responsible for manual sales during race weekend.
- Research problems on customer accounts.
- Process mail (payments, renewals, address changes, brochure requests, etc.)
- Knowledgeable about all aspects of areas (handicap, parking, will call, etc.)
- Certified report, postage reports, credit balance report, balance due report and house ticket report.
- Maintain batch records.
- Maintain tracking record for all sales.
- Upgrades for all expansions.
- Prepare will call for race weekend.
- Proof information for all mailers for customers.
- Inventory tickets for race week.
- Participate in brainstorming meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have strong organizational skills, be an effective communicator and have the ability to work well with fellow employees – must be a team player.
- Must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic math skills to balance accounts and count change/money.
- Ability to sit/stand for extended periods of time-four (4) hours.
- Ability to reach for specific items within local work area.
- Ability to bend, stoop or kneel; ability to climb, ascend/descend stairs and travel to various parts of the facility.
